Streetcar Supreme Car Show 2009

I met up with a friend at the Streetcar Supreme Car Show and it happened to be a reunion of sorts. Ahhh... Good times, I tell ya. Previously, I had seen my friend's pops' whip, a beautiful black Ford but, to see it under the bright lights was just amazing!

Halalu to you too!

I went to check out the Halalu fishing at a secret spot and found that it wasn't so secret. Everyone seemed to be picking up Halalus and having a great time. I think next week I'll have to actually pick up a pole!

The new do

I finally got my friend's bro-in-law to come out and add more electrical and cable outlets to my wall so that the wiring would not be visible. Thanks George!

Today was ILL yo!

Birthdays in the past have always been, one order of a night on the town, 2 orders of copious amounts of beers and shots, a side of incoherence, and for dessert, a healthy scoop of taxi ride home complete with blurred vision and over tipping (because I couldn't see what I was handing the taxi driver). Well, today was different - a lot more enjoyable and definitely ill... It included a quaint hike down to the Makapu'u tidepools with friends that I haven't seen in a while, capped off with a Greek lunch and a FEW beers at Kona Brewery. Insane... In the recent, I've been blessed with great company and conversations - today was no exception. We spoke about humous/humus/hummus (they seem to spell it 3 different ways!), Don't Mess With The Zohan, gyros (the term gyro includes the entire sandwich and not only the meat), guano turd, bird training, pet bees, poopy (every great conversation must include poopy), ice cream (that I did steal from a child), bazookas, fishing poles, boats, uninvited guests, drunken antics, sea brownies, and more. All in all, it was a great day. Thanks folks and thanks Lorie and Del for catching my meal, beers, and Irish Car Bomb! Now, stay tuned for next week's inebriating parties.
